Bruce D. Hammock, Ph.D. is a Distinguished Professor of Entomology at the University of California, Davis and is a member of the National Academy of Sciences. Dr. Hammock is Director of the Superfund Basic Research and Training Program and a member of the University of California, Davis Cancer Center Team. Dr. Hammock has been studying the impact of s-EH inhibition on various disease states for over 30 years, and is the author on over 100 publications focused on s-EH.

The group has a long standing interest in the molecular mechanisms and lipid mediators that are involved in the regulation of vascular homeostasis as well as in the development of vascular disease.

John E. Hall, Ph.D. is the Associate Vice Chancellor for Research, University of Mississippi Medical Center and the Director of the Center for Excellence in Cardiovascular-Renal Research. Dr. Hall’s focus includes the mechanisms of hypertension and target organ injury; obesity and insulin resistance; the renin-angiotensin system; and modeling and computer simulation of the cardiovascular-renal systems.

John D. Imig, Ph.D. is a Professor in the Vascular Biology Center and Department of Physiology at the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Imig has won numerous awards for his research in cardiovascular and renal physiology and recently received an Established Investigator Award from the American Heart Association.

Deanna L. Kroetz, Ph.D. is a Professor in the Department of Biopharmaceutical Sciences and Pharmaceutical Chemistry at the University of California, San Francisco. A long-standing project in Dr. Kroetz’s laboratory focuses on the generation of biologically active eicosanoids by cytochrome P450-mediated metabolism of arachidonic acid.

Arthur A. Spector, M.D. is an Emeritus Professor in the Department of Biochemistry at the University of Iowa. Dr. Spector research is focused on the role of fatty acids and their derivatives in biological systems, including the function of EETs and arachidonic acid epoxide derivatives synthesized by cytochrome P450 epoxygenases.
